In Person Immersion

DEEPEN YOUR PRACTICE. IGNITE YOUR TEACHING. FIND YOUR VOICE

Join Tahl Rinsky in Byron Bay for five days of teaching, practice, and inquiry. Ignite is built around the subtle body — the energetic layer of the practice that shapes how a class feels, how a sequence builds, and how a teacher is received. This is what separates a technically competent teacher from one who genuinely moves a room.

You will explore the five Vayus — each day shaped by a different energetic theme. You will learn to sequence with the subtle body in mind, develop your voice as a vehicle for energetic transmission, and practise teaching every day with real feedback in real time. You will finish the week with a clearer understanding of what you are transmitting when you teach and more confidence in your ability to do it.

WHO IS THIS TRAINING FOR?

Advanced Teaching Skills + Assisting

Designed as an enhancement for HAUM School’s 200hr YTT students and as continuing education for current yoga teachers, this program focuses on practical teaching skills and the art of holding space for your students.

KEY COMPONENTS

Teaching Skills

Refine the essential techniques that make a yoga class engaging, accessible and transformative.

  • Fine-tuning your cueing and learning to work with different types of cues; verbal, energetic, and spatial. Language that shifts what students feel in their bodies.

  • Create an environment where students feel safe, seen, and able to go where the practice is taking them

  • What it means to hold a room with intelligence. The relationship between your inner state and what the class feels.

The Five Vayus

The Vayus are the five winds, the pranic currents that govern how energy moves, builds, and integrates in the body. We study them as philosophy, practise with them as a personal inquiry, and apply them to teaching. By the end you will understand why some classes feel alive and others simply don't, and how to create the conditions for that to happen

  • Rooted in the Tantric and Vedic traditions, the Vayus offer a precise map of how prana moves and functions in the body. We study each one; its location, its quality, and what it governs

  • Learning to recognise and work with each Vayu in your own body.

  • Sequencing, cueing, and class structure through the lens of the subtle body.

Voice and Transmission

Your voice is not just how you speak. It is the frequency you bring into a room. This pillar is about discovering what you are transmitting when you teach and learning to trust it

  • Tone, pacing, silence. How the way you speak shapes what students experience in their bodies

  • What is it that you are here to give? What does a student feel when they leave your class?

  • Moving out of imitation and into the teacher you already are.

Self Leadership

Step into your own self-mastery and embody the qualities of an inspiring teacher.

  • Explore your strengths, teaching style, and areas of growth.

  • Cultivate self-awareness, emotional resilience, and the ability to navigate challenges with grace.

  • Embrace authentic leadership with confidence and deep self-trust.
