The Inner Currents of Flow

A 3-week virtual immersion into the five vayus through embodied practice

3 Saturdays  ·  May 16, 23 + 30
9 to 11am AEST  ·  3 to 5pm PDT Time
Live on Zoom  ·  Replay included  ·  10 CE hours

There are moments in practice when something clicks. The breath settles, the body finds its rhythm, and for a little while everything feels coherent and alive. You’ve probably touched that. And you’ve probably also wondered what’s actually happening in those moments, and how to find your way back there more consistently.

The Inner Currents of Flow is a three-week virtual immersion into the five vayus — the directional movements of prana that shape the way we breathe, move, stabilise, and flow.

We’ll explore these teachings the way they were always meant to be understood: through practice.

What are the vayus?

In the yogic tradition, prana is the life force that animates everything we do. The vayus are the five directions it moves within us — governing the breath, the sense of grounding, our inner fire, the way we express ourselves, and how energy circulates through the whole body.

When we start to understand these movements, practice becomes more than physical. We begin to recognise the energetic quality of what we’re doing, and we develop tools for working with it intentionally.

What you’ll explore

Over three weeks, you’ll build a direct, felt understanding of how energy moves within practice. You’ll explore breath and grounding, inner balance and digestion of experience, expression and whole-body coordination.

By the end of the immersion you’ll have a clear framework for the five vayus, a more conscious relationship with breath and attention, and a set of tools you can bring into your practice and your daily life straight away.

Weekly Themes

WEEK ONE

Prana Vayu and Apana Vayu

How your voice reflects your internal state and personal power.
Somatic practices to feel how energy moves through the body, and how intentionally sourcing sound from different energetic centres changes your influence, presence, depth and clarity.

WEEK THREE

Udana Vayu and Vyana Vayu

Our final week opens outward — into expression, circulation, and the sense of expansion that comes when all parts of practice are working together. This is where everything integrates.

WEEK TWO

Samana Vayu

The second week turns toward the centre. Samana governs digestion, balance, and the assimilation of experience. We’ll work with the inner fire and explore how this centralising force creates steadiness and clarity.

How it works?

Each two-hour session includes pranayama, meditation, asana, and teaching. The practices and the theory weave together so the teachings can be felt, not just understood.

You’re welcome to join live each Saturday, or move through the recordings in your own time. Each session is uploaded in sections so you can return to the pranayama, revisit the asana, or come back to the teaching whenever it’s useful. Weekly journaling prompts help you carry the material between sessions.

Each session includes

Pranayama — 15 minutes

Meditation — 15 minutes

Asana — 60 minutes

Teaching — 30 minutes

WHAT I NEED TO KNOW

  • Not at all. This immersion is open to any practitioner with a regular yoga practice and a genuine interest in learning. You don’t need prior knowledge of the vayus or subtle body teachings.

  • Every session is recorded and uploaded in sections, so you can move through the immersion entirely in your own time if you need to. The live element is wonderful if you can make it, but the full experience is available on replay.

  • All recordings and materials will be available through  your course. You’ll receive access details after enrolling. Everything remains accessible for 24 months from the date of purchase.

  • All practices are designed to meet you where you are. A regular yoga practice is helpful, but you don’t need prior experience with pranayama or meditation to benefit from this immersion.

  • When you enrol you’ll be added to a private WhatsApp group for the duration of the immersion. It’s a space to connect with fellow participants, share reflections, and stay in conversation between sessions.

  • Email us at hello@haum.space with any technical issues and we’ll sort you out as soon as we can.

Three weeks. Five vayus. One thread running through all of it — the felt experience of how energy moves in service of the flow.

If you’re ready to explore that, this is the place to begin.
